^ I had that issue with a silicone pipe, the plastic wire loom works well too! if you have any of that laying around.

Don't split the wrap hose down the middle in a straight line. Split it in a twist/helix. That way it will stay on the hose without zip ties.

I was suggesting slipping it over the sheet metal, not wrapping the hose...either way. your way is probably better.

The story I've heard is that the SSE Evo melted a diaphragm, so they started watercooling. Trey and I both turned the anodizing from black to orange to salmon, and mine is beginning to turn tan, so they clearly see some serious heat.

These idiots that say "water ports are unnecessary" are so god damn stupid they should run for office. If someone put in a bunch of time and money to put them there, you should probably use them instead of armchair-engineering your own glorious failures.

You buy pipe and cut it.

The other manifolds I've done require voodoo in the collectors, especially the shorter ones/BEGI FM replacement mani and the like, where the blends are all funky and not straight cuts. This stand style collecter is not as and there's even online tutorials showing how to use a bandsaw. I also use solidworks to get me the proper angles (and twist) for a straight cut. I must make my own collector so i know sorta exactly where the pipes should be to match my CAD model. Otherwise I'd have to get the collector from whomever, measure it, then model the manifold, and hope the next time I get the collector it's exactly the same.

Putting the waterlines actually won't be that hard if you have a water cooled turbo... just run the water line in and out of it and then into your turbo. Winning!

If however you have an oil cooled turbo like the one I am getting it will suck because I thought I was going to be able to do away with my water lines forever. sniff

haha ok. I can either just type it out in whatever font you want or you can send me a pic of sorta what you are looking for. Find a top view of the MVS and show me what you want.

EDIT: it might not even be visible, not sure where the MVS will fit yet. Hmmm. Well if you can see the sides of it I can put it there. Let me find out where the MVS will go first.

Wow I am surprised that you were serious Tim.

This is a real value-add service actually.

I think I would want "WASTEGATE" on my BOV and "BLOW OFF VALVE" on my wastegate.

Can you laser engrave the manifold too? I would want "bonertime" in cursive script.

The only way to do manifolds is to engrave the pipe before you make the manifold; when complete it won't fit inside the safety hood on the laser.

My foreskin isn't missed.

Lars is going to have to shorten the upper two middle studs.
