It was awesome fun, but I hope we never do one again, in this car. I'm still cleaning up the car from it, and there's a quite a few rock sized dents in the floor. It sorta eliminates track days in the car's future. Not sure we wanna do that.

Woot, while working on the shitty miata my friends weighed mine. 2150 (that's with their weight already subtracted I'm assuming), with stock seats in. So 0-20lbs under 2100 in race trim. I'm not sure how much the license plate/floor mats/stereo/center console/registration packet/tools/etc weighs.

Thanks! Yours for $40! ($35 for hose, $5 for HD lip) The bottom of the tubes are destroyed from scraping, and it's really hard to use zipties to get them to stay pointed at the rotors. I need TSE's lobster claws and ducts cut into the bumper.

The car cleans up real nice! Did you notice if your ducting receives enough airflow/pressure to significantly cool the brakes?
Also, I made a wastegate bracket just like yours for my t25. Do you remember what psi level that extra little stretch caused in the can? While less than a centimeter, it does give it some decent preload.
My setup is going to be really similar to yours. Hopefully I can get a virtual or real dyno to compare!

I never used it without that tiny little bit of stretch, but wastegate pressure is around 8psi, so it's probably a 6psi can. Which is perfect for tuning before increasing boost with a MBC.

Both sides have harnesses, with hard dog's bolt in harness bar. There are eyelets bolted in the floor for the 2 6pt pieces to clip into, and I have an old bottom mount MOMO Start that bolts in.
It's really only in for track days though, because I didn't bash in the tranny tunnel it sits pointing just enough towards the clutch pedal instead of the middle brake pedal to cause me some knee pain after a day of driving.
That's partially where I get my old man reputation.

I'm keeping my wheels, you're not convincing anyone anything, except convincing me to paint them darker. For now your old brake dust is doing a fine job.

Thought I'd throw a little update on here. I visited PIR on Monday, had some great success, and aside from my battery bracket failing and ruining most of a session, I didn't take a wrench to the car all day. Well, if you don't count trying out Mobius' Rivals on 6uls.
Sorry the pictures are crappy, but I was NOT leaving the shade.

Ah yes, unfortunately no pictures were really taken, I'll have to snap some soon.
But I'm now running on NB sport Bilsteins, my same 450/300 spring setup, Ebay sleeves, NB hats front and rear, with stock bushings and FCM bump stops.
If you can find used or even new Bilsteins for a decent price like I did, I would recommend this setup to anyone. It's absolutely amazing. My previous Konis aren't known for their high speed dampening, but they still rode great. These just give so much confidence with any bumps that pop up in the corners. That being said, the racer in me absolutely loves them, however because they have much stiffer high speed dampening, little bumps and holes in the road are definitely a bit more crashy, the Konis soaked these up with a little more dignity. Very worth the trade off if you ask me.
A couple notes though:
These were my sleeves:
Honda Acura Adjustable Scale Aluminum Sleeves Silver Suspension coilover Spring | eBay
"HONDA/ACURA ADJUSTABLE SCALE ALUMINUM SLEEVES SILVER SUSPENSION COILOVER SPRING"
You can see there's a flat milled in them with stupid numbers. DO NOT BUY THESE. They milled this flat after cutting the threads, and they never deburred them. I didn't think much of them because the collars threaded so nicely, but after I put the weight of the car on them, they jammed up bad. Spent an hour getting them off, and 5 minutes deburring with a thread file, I'd suggest just doing that first. Or buy a set without the flat. It's kind of ironic actually, because they go through all the trouble of milling the flat, but the numbers aren't aligned very well, so they're useless anyways.
Also these are upside down with no set screws, and at the lowest position. I'm happy with the height, but they're definitely not for the "slammed" crowd. I'll have to work on this. It's definitely a nice DD/raceable height, but there's no doubt that on a billiard smooth track I'd be beneficial to run slightly lower. Actually, they're mounted exactly as shown in the picture, as low as possible, even mounted with the numbers upside down.

I've read through this thread a couple times and I still can't figure out what made you decide to change to a side-mount manifold from the bottom-mount you were originally talking about. What made you change your mind?
I ask because I'm looking at doing something similar for my car; SR20 T25 with a bottom-mount from ArTech.
