That's gotta beat any kind of fabric wrap. It's on my junkyard shopping list for future upgrades.

Did I walk out into the street and get run down by a truck?

That's kind of how I felt the next morning. My youth is not what it use to be.

Well, it's early on Saturday. I just went through tech here at Daytona.

Hopefully we put everything together correctly and the heat shields work properly.

Ryan_G overslept again, lol, but he made it here.

Missed 1st session, ran 2nd session and blew off an intercooler coupler. 3rd session black flagged on out lap due to Porsche in the wall.

I say missed the first session but I actually got out for the last lap.

Ryan's car has been having ignition trouble all week but it turns out that it was oil fouling. Engine has to come out. So sad for him.

I let him drive mine for one of the sessions this afternoon.

I took advantage of the presence of a dyno here at the track and pulled 262 horsepower and 252 torque at about 15psi. The first run hit the overboost protection because the air was slightly cooler in the evening when I did the pull. You see the dips where it kicked in.

I'm going to reroute my intercooler piping on the hotside and get everything beaded since I am going to be running higher boost levels now. What was fine at 8-10 psi doesn't cut it at 15+ as I move forward.

That beading tool I got from JEGS worked pretty darn well.

My parents shared some old pictures of my first love with me and I thought I would share with you fellas. I'm feeling a bit nostalgic with Christmas upon us.

I do too. But it looks rough and hasn't been cranked since '08 or so.

Yeah. Back in the day, I DD it in Pensacola and later Jacksonville (Cecil Field). The Florida climate is not kind. North Texas is way better for steel.
