I'm going to need a new roof on the house soon. About $8-10k to do it right with a decent contractor. The car will need to rest and rust a bit longer.

Nope. Amish don't build to the new hurricane code. It apparently requires Honduran or Mexican expertise. The codes here require better materials and more involved installation procedures than my place in Georgia did. I guess that's a good thing.

So I began upgrading my gauges with a beautiful custom set from Adam @ Revlimiter.net. I chose the new "Fighter" series for high visibility and quick recognition. It was custom scaled to correct for the swap from 4.10 gears to 3.63, so it is a practical upgrade. It also features a 6 o'clock zero so that the redline area and speeds above 100mph are physically higher in the panel for easier visibility. It also now features a 160mph top of scale, which is appropriate for the gearing and my opportunities to run at tracks like Daytona.

It is an extremely high quality set and I am fortunate to have it. Adam included goodies and extras as well.

I haven't had a chance to orient the fuel gauge needle yet so it hasn't been fully reassembled for this picture.

Cover is on gauges. Clear lens has indelible spots and I'd love a spare na8 replacement if anyone has a spare.

Bailey likes warm dishwasher right after it is opened up.

Wouldn't the spots come off with plastic polish?

I don't think he'd hold still for it.

And I haven't tried anything other than cleaner on the lens.

I ordered a pressure switch for the half *** Devils Own kit I picked up a few years ago and it came with a cool bumper sticker.

Definitely will get me pulled over more often in Florida.

Shooter, about that temp gauge... shouldn't the 260 degrees mark be like 5 degrees to the right from the center with 800 degrees being fully to the right?

It's ok. I don't trust it. I use an oil temp gauge with an alarm.

I'm doing this, in case anybody else wants to come play. I hate going out to events alone.

March 26th, 2016 @ Sebring International Raceway |

Good group with lots of track time and very little hassle. Lunch is included.

Scott (Pdexta) came out to Sebring yesterday when we were running and I took him out for a couple of laps. Tire pressure was getting a little high as the day warmed up and I should have let it down some prior to going out. The fuel tank was getting low and the back end was a also bit lighter than in the morning. Running about 10psi on gtx2867r in the video. Meth injection not yet hooked up. You can tell what is happening with the throttle by watching the orange indicator on the boost gauge on the left a-pillar.

Nice video

Looks like tons of fun!! Still on the fence if I should save for TSE EFR allthethings, or grab a nicer GTX direct swap with my setup & a new intercooler...

Default Sixshooter's Slow Torture™ Build Thread

The EFR spools quicker than the GTX with the. 86 turbine, if that's something you want. Mine would spool better if I wasn't using a cast FM log mani.

That video just doesn't do it justice. I am glad you can't hear me squealing when the backend steps out coming out of the turn at 240mph though. I really appreciate the ride, thanks man!
