I would honestly refuse to acknowledge you in public if I saw that car.

Think I found a buyer for the motor (waiting on him to drop off his deposit on it), so should have it pulled and sold soon here. I'll be divin' into the front end rebuild and swap full force once it goes

Naw I'm in for KA+ turbo swap drama. I want to see this. Leave unbanned, please.

For science!

Pool on lifetime of stock drivetrain with a trubo KA? Shall we measure it in miles, hours, feet, or minutes?

Hahahaha I give it like one weekend. Maybe.

Maybe I'll actually do this the smart way and swap the rear end out for something that can handle it.

Smart way and "KA" just don't fit in the same sentence with Miata's in context.

But I am all for #becausescience

Just in response to your "edited" quote - I'll be using a KA trans and custom driveshaft. Was planning on just using the 1.6 rear end but it's open to discussion still.

Stock 1.6 rear end? I give it untill the first atempted burnout or WOT run with a hard shift (assuming the tires are not hockey pucks).

I don't think the 1.6 rear is "open to discussion." It will grenade. 1.8 Torsen or ... whatever you want, but the 1.6 will not survive.

Got the KA and trans sitting around the garage now.. Hopefully that will be some sort of motivation. Going to start pulling the motor tonight I think.
