Can you please post 3000 more pictures of your incredible ugly duckling manifold?
We are missing what i looks like from 36*,21* longitude, 59* azimuth.
Also please use a much brighter sun so we can see l the details of your the lovely "patina".

Well I had a long weekend so I started working on the new manifold. Taking all the old coating off so it doesn't upset the Russians anymore, and I'm baking the turbine housing in my grill tomorrow with some VHT ceramic. The compressor is getting sanded and painted silver. Should be a good time.
I also decided to just avoid the wastegate space issues and have the two-bolt flange cut off and a nice v-band will be welded on for a Tial MVS. I've had a bottom mount two-bolt wastegate for the last two years if not longer, so I think I've paid my dues and am ready to spend a little extra coin for hassle free parts. The biggest advantage is the MVS being over an inch shorter than the F38 which is already shorter than my Turbonetics evo-gate. So it's a no brainer. The evo-gate will be sold with my current FM3 kit. Plus, the MVS is only 250 bucks and it comes with the necessary flanges, clamps, fittings, etc.
I'll spend some time this week and copy/pasta all my other ---- from MFZ to here and get this started up again.
I'm working on matting the entire car now. I want my bitch to be quiet so I can listen to my Yanni collection in piece with out going deaf or my leg burning off.
I also have Bryce helping me out with some stereo suggestions so I can hear all of Yanni's glory the way it was meant to be heard.
Comfortable. Big power. Street car.

I bet they fall asleep now. Got boost?
Update: Decided to skip the place holder turbo and go straight to the Holset. I got some great feedback from the other guy running the HY and I am very pleased with what he had to say. So onward with boostz.
Next in line for purchases with money is a Tial MVS and the spiffy RX7 R-trans adapter. I will have some downtime coming up soon (work closes for 6 weeks) so I will be putting the rest of the stuff in as I go along.

I want to see how you like the the HY as I have an H1C, (pretty much the HY with no waste gate). I want to put it on but I need to do a split scroll manifold first, and build the motor so I'm not running small wiener boost. None the less, I'm curious to see how it'll do on the 1.6 because I've been thinking of saving it for something more 6cylinder-y lately.

If Pusha actually buys my kit (or others show interest) I will put the car on stands and start sending my parts off the be finished.
-38mm waste gate flange changed to Tial v-band for MVS
-downpipe made (hopefully ARtech)
-I think I'll be limited to just a filter for an intake unless I can fit a 90* silicone piece in there...doubt it
Little things like a new oil drain and intercooler piping I can start working on now. I can use the same oil feed and even use the same vacuum lines for the new wastegate since it's located in a similar spot. It's weird how little will need to be changed...
I also need to rebuild the HY and deside on either a stock HX 9 blade comp. wheel, or go radical with an 8 blade or machine for HX40 billet comp. wheel.
Plans are to see if I can punch a hole in this block. I now have 130,000-ish boosted miles on this thing and it's been overheated and abused like 18psi's *******. I may send it out with 30psi glory pulls of death.

Pusha and I have done business before, and in person. He's legit. Nice guy, too. Money to burn from pushing product.
I'll also send you a PM for shipping details when my 6spd gets here from Savington. I can have the 5spd out in a few days.
Your C6z is boss. So is your house in your "white's only" neighborhood.

6 spd is on it's way thanks to the amazing, handsome and overly charming Savingballs.
I pulled the FM3 setup today to get it ready to be shipped to a new owner It's been some good years. It's time to move on from super reliable setups, and get into the realm of dream shattering, depression world of ALL OF IT land. I need to order a sawzall
Did a quick mock-up of the new stuff and it actually fits.
