pretty much i was just playing with my turbo in the engine bay of my car and was like........... HEY! this is where i want my turbo to sit! all else followed from there with back and forth PM's with ARTech.
i know that the way this mani is set up will not flow as great as others that have been proven, but the way i see it. it will flow alot better than some others that i have seen in this world. i wanted my DP routing to be as straight as possible without going with a bottom mount. personally i like my **** to be real simple and this fits the bill for me. it will make routing the IC pipes really friggin easy and move the heat maker (turbo) forward so less heat will be at the fire wall and near the break master cylinder.
eventually when i get the proper tools i will be building a manifold that will keep the turbo in the same spot its going to sit now. when the time comes for that it will be a full tubular mani all = runner length.
i already posted that i know this is not the best flowing design post #58(i dont want people thinking im a random *** fucked retartd) i know full and well what i may be losing by going with this.

I saw where you said that, was just curious as to why you chose it. How are you going to fit the intake?

i will be building an intake box to go in front of the motor, it will be braced to the engine so it will move with it. from there i will proceed with getting my hands on some sort of scoop or even the intake lid off a newer Mach 1 mustang to see if that will work and then cut a hole in my hood and turn it into a shaker hood

hopefully it wont look gey as **** and will actually look pretty cool. i have pretty much done everything i can to the car right now with what money i dont have haha. im waiting on the engine and cylinder head and for ARTech to finish the mani, DP and WG dump tube (gotta pay him too) i have to buy another rear end (im concidering picking up that OBX LSD unit for our diffs to test it out since the 3.9 R&P i have is still in good shape.)
after all the above i need to buy a clutch kit, fluids, half-shafts, aluminum radiator, all the **** to do a coolant reroute ect ect.
and i cant decide if i want to drop the money on a AEM standalone or a DIYPNP, there is not a whole lot of shops that know a whole lot about the MS's around here and i really want a strong tune when i get this car finish. there are more reputable shops around here that can tune AEM......so idk!

How much do you have into that manifold material wise? It looks like stainless parts.
I don't think the flow will be all that bad, I mean he'll loose a couple hundred rpm of spool and maybe 10-15 hp up top? Seems worth it for ease of fabrication (for both the manifold and the downpipe). Keeping heat away from **** is a good idea too.

yeh i know, lots a wrenching time has already went into this car, and there are far more to come when i start getting my parts!
from what i have been told, they dont tune customer's cars, its in Suwanee GA. i have been there before when i picked up my first MSPNP. i have now found out as of today that there are a couple of shops that can get me a badass tune on MS when im ready.

here are some picture ARTech sent me a few days ago. right now waiting on the WG to show up in the mail so he can get that finished and to get started on the DP. the mani is on the 1.6 flange for clearance and will be put on the 1.8 for the final product.

his 1.8 car has no front end. his 1.6 does and he did the this on his 1.6 car and tacked it onto a 1.6 flange to clearance the radiator the flip up headlights and what not. just to make sure there were no problems.
