Default 1991 Mazda Miata - $2700

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1991 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - California.

Mileage: 234xxx miles
Engine Size: 1.6L

Asking price is $2700 o.b.o.

Unfortunately the time isn't right for me to continue owning a Miata. Don't really want to let her go, but unfortunately its necessary right now.

The car. 91, white, body is in good condition aside from a series of dents in the passenger fender and minor dings here and there. 234xxxK miles, absolutely no running issues (idles great, does not smoke under heavy throttle, breezed through the last smog check, etc.) 5-speed, with no shifting or grinding issues, interior is perfect aside from the stitching coming apart on the left bolster of the drivers seat and it needing a new cluster hood (which i will probably replace before selling.) Comes with aftermarket 320mm steering wheel and factory steering wheel with airbag intact (can reinstall before sale at buyer's request). Factory rims resprayed gunmetal with Kumho KH16 tires less than 5K and 6 months on the tires. 2.25" piping from the cat back to a wicked flow muffler. On Eibachs and KYB GR2 shocks. Hardtop. Also has the soft top that needs the back plastic window replaced and is not currently installed but included with the car. Fosgate door speakers, and kicker headrest speakers. Sony explode headunit. Have the upgraded front brakes from a 94 that will be installed prior to sale and has hawk hps pads on the 91 rear brakes. All fluids have been changed in the past 6 months. Last oil change was 1500 miles and 2 months ago, will be done again prior to selling the car. Has an ebay front strut brace. Turn signals have been moved to outer part of lenses and there are H10 bulbs in the main part of the turn signal lense. The headlight motors are on individual switches so you can set them at different heights from inside the car. (Previous owner did this to the car and I never felt the need to go back to stock)

Looking for $2700 obo. Not looking to sell the HT separate because the soft top is not currently installed and still needs a rear plastic window. Will consider selling the car without HT if it comes to that. $2000 without the HT.

ignore the fact that in the picture of the wheel there is not radio surround, it was taken before the surround was replaced.

Not a bad deal, except for the high mileage. Are the engine and tranny original?

yes engine is original, VIN number matches the car, I don't know where to find the number on the trans to match it with the car, but I'm fairly certain it was never replaced either.

But, despite the mileage the car does not smoke, burns absolutely no oil, did discover a small leak at the cam sensor o-ring, which is going to be replaced this week, and the trans shifts perfectly up and down from every gear, no grinds, popouts or stiffness between gears.

Looks like its just switched power to the headlight motors is all, because if you leave the switches on the motors just go up and down until they are switched off, and then stop wherever they were when you turned off the switch. Which reminds me that the car currently does not have a hazard switch, since those switches occupy the place in the bezel for the factory headlight and hazard switches. was planning on eventually extending the wiring to either a toggle in the glove box or center box for the hazards.

Also car comes with both cup holder AND ash tray...

Located in Hemet, CA

Car just had oil changed and tires rotated and rebalanced yesterday. Gauge cluster was swapped due to bad speedometer head, so it reads 150K miles less than what the car has.
