I have a 1991 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Illinois.
VIN: JM1NA3517M1239616
Engine Size: 1.8L
Asking price is $8000
Up for sale is my miata track car. I started with a 1994 back in 07 as my first miata and started modifying it and did track days. Last year I decided to reshell the car so I picked up this 91 rust free shell. I swapped everything over from the old car and cleaned/repainted parts in the process. I have also put many additions on the car since the swap. I have not taken this one to the track yet, but have ripped it around the roads and it goes. I have drove this car to work on my hr plus commute many times this summer and it does not have a problem. This car has been built with the knowledge I have gained from this fantastic site and is a great deal for someone looking to go to the track. I have close to 20k tied up in this car. I am applying for jobs across the country and internationally and have decided that I need to consolidate my belongings to make it easier when the time comes. As much as I love this car, I have to let it go. I know I will come back one day, but right now I need to focus on my future.
There are still a few odds and ends that need finishing before I would hit the track, but no more than a weekend worth of work. I would also recommend some dyno time with a tuner. Some of the pictures are not current (i.e: interior has cage and shift boot) The car runs, drives, stops, turns and is titled and insured.
Please, only call if you have $8000 in your hand and have serious interest. There will be no joy rides, buyers with cash in hand can test drive. Price is very firm.
