Default 1991 Mazda Miata Turbo Fully Built - $8500

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1991 Mazda Miata Turbo Fully Built for sale, in USA - Connecticut.

Mileage: 1000 miles

Asking price is $8500

Long story short, I sold all my toys and bought an 11 second evo for a daily driver. My wife and I are moving soon. I dont need 2 400hp cars in my garage. I really dont want to sell my Miata, but family comes first....Anyhow, on to the good stuff. Ive got probably close to $15,000 into this car between machine work and parts. It runs 100% perfect and the built motor has less then 1000 miles on it. I have every receipt for every part and all machine work. The body has 168k on it, youd never know it. Its prolly the cleanest 91 from here to Jabrew.

My build thread is https://www.miataturbo.net/showthread.php?t=43858

This car is an absolute beast and its a blast to drive. Im not looking to get rich or break even, I just want the car to go to a good home, someone who will appreciate it...

Oh man i'm sorry that you can't keep this car. But it's good that you're keeping your priorities first. Guess i'll have to be the one who breaks 450whp on a 1.6.

Free bump for a great car at a even greater price.

That set up made 381whp @ 25psi on pump on Jtothawhat's car. Our motors are built identically, so this should make the same power if not more with the Kelford's.

Willing to go to $6800 with good condition soft top, no hard top, stock wheels, no kelford cams. Just a thought.

I told you lol. We bought a house, we got a steal on it. We have to put a ton of money and work into it, and to top it off our closing is the 13th of next month! I cant be farting around with this car, I need to sell it to pay the evo off so we can start on the house with no bills. Trust me dude, if i wasnt moving, this car would be staying right here. I do not want to sell something that I put so much hard work and time into, but unfortunately this house comes first!!!!

If i part it, Id like 2500 for the motor with the kelfords, 2000 with out. Pistons and rods were 800, machining of the head and bottom end was 1100, bearings were 100, head studs 100, main studs 100, supertech stuff was 395, cam gears 150, gates belt 60, gaskets were 100, oil pump gears were 160, water pump 40, kelfords were 600. Thats over 3500 dollars worth of motor. Not counting my time to put the thing together. Factor that in and your well over 4000.

Sold.....she went to a good owner. He's new to Miata's, let alone one of this caliber, pretty sure he'll be a board member fairly soon....I was seriously sad to sell this car. Of all the cars ive owned, this was the toughest to let go of...
