Default 1994 Mazda Miata - $3500

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1994 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - New York.

Mileage: 143k (89k miles)km
Engine Size: 1.8

Asking price is $3500

I want to finish remodeling my house more than I need my toy, so the Miata is up for sale.

It's a California car. Lots of tiny dings and paint chips, a scuff on the nose, but no major dents and and no rust on the body. Bought it from a dealer in CA two years ago and it's been garaged through the Buffalo winters.

I have clean title for this car in hand. No liens.

Previous owner was an old nurse who listened to new age music and drove it to church (I found her gray hair, name tag, a cd she left in the head unit, and her bingo cards and church flyers when I had the interior out).

89k miles. Was automatic, but I swapped out the transmision for a manual.

I thought the engine was consuming coolant, but since replacing radiator the problem has completely disappeared. Old one was leaky.

New this year:
New timing belt and water pump
All-aluminum radiator
ACT XTSS Clutch
ACT ProLite flywheel
NAPA rotors
Hawk HPS pads
Energy Suspension bushing kit
Redline fluids in transmission and differential
Frame rail braces
Soft top (glass window, zipperless)
New radiator hoses
Stainless brake lines
Mazdaspeeed motor mounts

$3500, or $4200 with matching, original hardtop (with defrost and headliner). Will include the optional parts below for an even $5,200.

Optional Extras (currently installed, I will remove and replace with stock if you don't want them or we can't agree on a price which includes them):
Boss Frog Dual Hoop roll bar
Enkei RPF1 wheels (perfect, one has a single 2mm scratch on it. Zero curb rash) w/ Azenis
Aftermarket suspension (NB Illumina shocks, NB mounts, FatCat bushings, Ground Control bumpstops)

Replied on ESR. Not committing to parting anything out until car is sold. Then will deal on what's left. :-)

Montego Blue are easier to sell with the matching hardtop, gives it that FD rx7 look.

great car. ive been following the process of auto->manual conversion and it should be very solid. id pick it up since its '94 (best year!) and has a matching hard top. plus it already has all bushings replaced which is a MAJOR pain in the butt to do!

Meaning the FD and Miata shared the same paint.

Is the car still for sale? I'd also like to see some interior pics. I tried to pm you to give you my email address but I don't have enough posts yet. I'm interested and in Cleveland so I'm not too far away.

Please tell me what you would accept for the miata with no hard top, but including the wheels and the other optional items.

also, the photos you have posted do not show the roll bars and the tread on the tires. Would you be able to post, or send me a photo of those items?

I would like to arrange a time to look at the car this weekend. Possibly we can meet somewhere in between.

Thanks!

please reply by private message, including your e-mail

i tried to send you a pm but do not have enough posts yet.

I am confused with your math. If you are asking for 3500 with no hardtop or accessories, 4200 for the car with hardtop and another 1000 for accessories, why are the accessories with no hardtop more than 4500?

I understand the weather issue, but not your price.

What do you want for the package with no hardtop?

A good price would be suggested if you want to sell quickly. I am looking for a winter project.

Looks like just the car is $3500.

Hardtop is another $700 (steal).

Other extras (wheels, rollbar, suspension) are an extra grand...making what you seek $4500.
