Default 1991 Mazda Miata - $8,250

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1991 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Georgia.

Mileage: Body has 250,000+ miles
Engine Size: 1.9 Liter

Asking price is $7,750

I've owned the car for the last 6 years, was a daily for 3 and weekend car for the last 3. Probably put 3,000 miles or less per year on it for the last 3 from going to a few car meets. It's done me well but time to get a house and maybe i'll tinker with another one in the future. Built for the last year as a drift car, only ran 3 events and motor has been rebuilt/built since those events.

Engine: (61k mile motor pulled form an automatic 97) everything listed has around 500 miles on it unless listed otherwise.
-Exhintake swap cam
-Gates timing belt
-Ngk wires
-Bkr7e plugs
-rx7 550cc injectors (unknown mileage)
-Walbro 190lph fuel pump (15k miles)
-ARP head studs
-Wiseco 84mm 9.5:1 compression pistons
-Eagle H-beam rods with ARP bolts
-ACL race bearing set
-ARP main studs
-Cometic muti-layer head gasket
-All new seals and gaskets
-Tapped oil pan
-Delrin motor mounts
-Innovate LC-1 wideband with new sensor
-Mspnp 9093 V1
-Competition clutch 11 lb flywheel
-949 Racing super miata 4 puck sprung clutch with pressure plate

Turbo:
-Sr20 Ball-bearing t28
-BB oil restrictor
-Braided oil feed line with "T" maintaining 1.6 variable oil pressure sensor
-Oil and coolant cooled
-Heat wrapped tubular bottom mount manifold, Braced and clean thicker welds
-Megan sr20 divorced downpipe elbow
-Custom 3" exhaust, double heat wrapped from the shifter back. All solid mounted
-HKS adjustable internal wastegate actuator
-2.5" custom intercooler piping
-IAT sensor
-16.5x11x2.5 Intercooler with 10" pull fan
-Synapse Bov

Drivetrain and cooling:
-2003 5 speed (80k miles)
-97 1.8 differential swap with welded diff and polly filled mounts
-Cxracing Aluminum radiator with stock fans
-1.6 coolant sensor welded to 1.8 water neck
-Side note- All coolant hoses are looped (front to back) and there is no thermostat. Did this instead of coolant re-rout and its worked amazingly so far (temp never saw 200 deg. on any track day). Fans are megasquirt controlled, on at 160 deg. off at 155 deg, and is easily changeable.

Suspension:
-Megan racing Coilovers, dampening and ride height adjustable
-Modified knuckles
-Modified inner and outer tie rods
-DG rack spacers
-FM style de-powered rack
-97 1.8 brake swap
-949 braided front lines
-Extended rear UCA's
-Notched front UCA's to keep caliper/lines from hitting at full lock
-Tubular front core support. still stock hood latch and bumper bolt locations, made to give intercooler piping more room

Exterior:
-Rota Aleica wheels. 15x9 +10 rear 15x8 +10 front with 25mm spacer up front
-Tires- 195/45 front 205/50 rear
-3.5 deg camber front, 1.2 deg rear
-Rolled and flared fenders
-Vented front bumper for more airflow
-R-package front lip
-Custom made splitter, bolts to lip and front subframe
-Custom made canards
-Custom hardtop and finish panel paint. oem red, house of kolor red flake, icy pearl clear
-Feed style side skirts
-Rear bumper cutout
-Custom side exit exhaust with stainless plate
-57" gt wing with custom extended risers, if you don't like it a new red trunk is super cheap and easy to find.

Interior:
-Mostly original, all oem carpet and panels
-Normal small hole in drivers seat, 97 passenger seat
-New radio
-Wideband and boost gauges in center vent holes
-Intercooler fan switch
-Jimmy up special edition steering wheel #85

Extras:
-Extra set of 949 front braided brake lines
-4 spare wheels. 2 decent tires (same that are on rear of car, 2 bald)
-Stock Spare tire
-4x6 euro style lights with HID's. Planned on doing rectangle popups.
-Coil on plug harness with corolla coils and custom tie-down plate. Worked when installed but started breaking up at 5psi so i removed for the new engine break in. People online say i need to add extra capacitors to ecu. PICTURES BELOW of what it looks like
-Theres more i'm sure but overloaded with information right now, will add stuff when i open my boxes.

Cons:
-Car hasn't been professionally tuned. Just used my tune from last setup that 180/180 to the wheels, added more top rows for more boost in the future and retarded the timing to keep it safe during break-in. Then let tunerstudio change the fuel.
-Paint isn't bad for a 91, was re-sprayed x years before i got it. has the normal scratches and then chips from fender rolling
-axles click. they didn't make any noise until i went from 4 to 1.2 degrees of camber so i'm assuming they're just stretched a little. been like this for awhile now, at least a year or more and through 3 drift events. Haven't given me a single problem.

Wont let me edit the post so ill make the changes here.

NEW PRICE IS $7,000

Reason for price drop: Needs a new T2 turbo to manifold gasket. Current one is split and leaking. Still drives fine but you can hear the leak.

OR i will part the car out if i find a buyer for the motor setup first. Cost: $4500. what you get is everything in the Engine, Turbo, and Drivetrain and cooling sections.

you just need to run with out the gasket and plane the turbo and manifold. Problem solved
