1995 Mazda Miata - $4500.00
1995 Mazda Miata R for sale California.
Engine Size: 1.8
Asking price is $4500
R model, with A/C option (not working do to broken condenser line), Hard Dog DD (SCCA legal) roll bar, short shift kit, Momo on a quick release, FM Happy Meal clutch, Walbro 225, RC 550 injsctors, Racing Beat exhaust, Link ECU, Racing Beat F and R sway bars, Tein HA coilovers, Torsen diff, Carbotech pads on new cross drilled rotors, Team Dynamics with RA1 (1 track day at least left on them) Konig Heliums with Falken 615 as DD, Koyo radiator, alum FMIC (not installed), all fluids good and fresh, low miles on rebuilt motor (I have LOTS of receipts). Non-color matched hard top. Car was super charged, was going turbo but I need to focus on getting a house. Will get pics soon. Call with any questions six6one-40zero-1six03.

Everything but the s/c, t/b (need a 1.8)...and I think that is it. It does not as it still has the s/c tune in the ecu and there is no t/b...I am on the hunt for one though. I am not near the car, so your 10 minute estimate is incorrect. I will post pics when I get them...likely this week.

Well...it appears that someone left a very tacky post and has since deleted it. Luckilly I have it here...I will not mention names.

Firstly it is very tacky and in very poor form to knock someones car on the internet, especially a car you have never seen. It is in even poorer form to get it all wrong at the same time. Let me see if I can help you out (as you did me).
The rear window has been replaced with a new top with zip out glass...thanks for pointing that out.
The rotors...man those were some great rotors. I would give a nut to get another set. My buddy used to bring me those from Japan. They were some sort of Unobtainium Alloy that sloughed heat better than any other I have used. I am sure your astute observation skills noted the water under the car...ergo likely I just washed th car and the VERY light surface rust you see there is just that...light surface rust from the recent wash.
There is NO body "kit" on this car. The front bumper skin (gutted underneath) is made by VIZ may not be the best looking out there, but when ducted properly funnels LOTS of air to the I/C and radiator. My IAT and coolant temps are VERY low for a track Miata, let alone a boosted one. I have NO overheating issues even on the hottest of summer days. The side skirts are actual Racing Beat bits and while I would not have added them myself they do finish off the bottom of the car nicely.
This my favorite and where I think I can help you out the most. Firstly learn the differnce between to, too, and two and when to use them. Secondly this is certainly an R package car and is actually only missing one of the R package parts (the chin spoiler). While there are 3 (maybe 4 if you count the 1 inch lower stance) visual clues...there are many more (in most people's opinion) important cues that cannot be seen. The Torsen diff, the drop corrected tie rod ends, the Bilstein Struts (not on my car, replaced by Tein), the chasis and subframe bracing are all very important R parts. You see the R was made by Mazda to contest a particular SCCA stock class. Similar today's SM cars racers had to use factory parts.
It's funny how you are such a Miata expert that you felt free to knock my car, yet you don't know all that much about Miatas. Also I see that you only knocked my car for it's looks (albeit you got that wrong). If looks are what you are all about you are missing 90% of what makes a Miata a great car.
PS...the car is NOT for sale any longer. Since it was such a great start on a big turbo car I decided to keep it and put the turbo in myself. FTW
