Default 1994 Mazda Miata - $6000.00

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1994 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Louisiana.

Mileage: 90000 miles
VIN: JM1NA3531R0519661
Engine Size: 1.8l

Asking price is $5900.00 6700 with all spares.

So in a strange twist of fate I have an opportunity to get something really cool, and the Miata will need to go.

Details:
1994 Miata 'C' package ~90k miles
5 speed std.
ABS car.
New radiator, timing belt, waterpump, hoses in last 10k miles.
Hard dog rollbar
Koni Yellow shocks
Ground Control Coilovers (550/350 Lb/inch rates)
Car has been corner balanced.
Flyin' Miata front sway bar
Energy suspension polyurethane kit on all the suspension. I Drilled and tapped all the a-arms for grease fittings, just in case it ever starts to squeak, but so far its been silent.
BRP MP62 supercharger. Blower rebuilt less than 5k miles ago, makes 7 PSI boost
TRD belt tensioner
Megasquirt PNP EMS
750cc RC injectors
Inovate LC2 wideband wired into the megasquirt.
Torsen LSD rear end with 4.10 gears. new output shaft seals.
2 sets of wheels. 14" with Falken azenias rt615's 50% life. 15" drag dr-20 with Kuhmo tires ~90% life.
r-line front lip
AXXIS ultimate brake pads.
sony cd player with ipod connector.
battery is less than a year old.

Good:
Car is very clean for its age. Some paint oxidization on rear deck, but miatas are single stage so it should buff out. I was never brave enough to try it, but I might to help it sell if thats a sticking point. Body is straight. The car has mostly been garage kept.
AC works very well.
Car is VERY well sorted. Very quick. I estimate the power to be around 180hp, but have never dynoed it. The drive ability is great, and it starts on the first try every time. This thing will put a smile on your face every time you drive it.
Top is ok.

Bad:
Driver seat has seen better days (I have spare seats)
speedo cable squeeks from time to time, never bothered me enough to change as a standalone operation.
Top has seen better days and probably only has another year or two left in it.
You may need to bring a truck to haul away all the spare parts. it IS a miata after all

Spares:
two cloth seats (black)
third member with 4.78 gearset
Extra motor, ran when pulled but has low comp on #3. great place to start a rebuild.
speedo cable
mazdaspeed competition motor mounts.

older FMII turbo kit.
Has a GT25xx turbo with adjustable wastegate.
inter-cooler and pipes, bov, DP, etc.
I'll include a lot of other various bits I bought to support this install, including....

I have a pretty detailed spreadsheet with what I've got in this car. $11,038.99, hot damn. I didn't realize it was that much. So, you basically get it for what I did, with tons of upgrades, for 50% off what I have in the car.

Well, here we go.... I hope I'm not screwing up by selling....but i think I'll be just fine

Clutch kit is/will be gone. I will also entertain trades for stock parts for the engine and suspension.

Just got back from Deals gap, and the car was great up there, very hooked up and power was good. It now has just shy of 92k miles as a result. Fly in drive it home. 5900 OBO, reasonable offers considered. I really would like to move this car out sooner rather than later.

The price is fine, and the spares are a great incentive, but this is a turbo forum after all, and the economy does suck right now, and won't be getting any better.

I'd say your biggest problem is that your charge piping looks like pvc sprinkler piping and the engine bay is just about the dirtiest I've ever seen on a vehicle with that much money put into it. Your engine bay looks like absolute **** and is an instant turnoff to any potential buyer.

Maybe clean up the car, post some more pics that aren't glamour shots, some of the interior, maybe a dyno-sheet... you know, "SELL IT".

Thanks for the input, and I know i'm kinda playing to the wrong crowd with an SC car on a turbo forum. BUT, Miata.net are a bunch of weiners that dont know what standalone is (p-p-p-power card? WTF is that ****?). This crowd seems to know what a well put together car is. Club roadster.....ugh. That is one place I have NOT put an add up yet.

Engine bay is just how it is. I, as someone who knows cars, HATES it when I show up to a car and someone cleaned the crap out of it and glossed it up, double for an older car. Dirt leaves sutuble clues, what has been worked on recently, new components, where it leaks or does not, etc... Also, the intake is not PVC, its painted steel. Old skool sebring kit crossover tube

After this week once I shore up the deal on the miata's replacement I'll 'try to sell it'. I hope this does not involve a part out, but a stock car is easier to sell. For someone that knows modded cars and miata's, this really is a hell of a deal. And I've openly stated I'm willing to take offers. I know I'm plying to a narrow market, but I'd rater sell someone a well done car, loose a few bucks, and save some work vs. parting out and making a great car just another stock MA miata.
