Default 1993 Mazda miata - $$8500

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1993 Mazda miata for sale, in USA - Alabama.

Engine Size: 1.8

Asking price is $$8500

The time has come for me to take my car to the next level, or go ahead and sell it.

I will not part this car. The build has been enjoyable, and I know at this price I'm taking a significant loss. However, this is my hobby. I don't get my money back down the road from playing golf. I want someone to enjoy all of the hard work I have put into this.

It's a 1993 that has about 100k on the chassis, and ~ 6k on the built motor. I'll get current pics later, but right now I'm going to try to focus on The modifications and part.

Exterior:

soft top still intact and good condition (no rips tears, rear is clear)
Hard top
frame rails
15x7 pro race 2 wheels with 205-50-15 RE11
turn signal vents
rear spoiler
R-package front lip
ARTech full 3" vband SS dual exhaust with magnaflow muffler and resonator

Suspension/Brakes:

FM front sway, stock rear sway
Stewart development revalved bilsteins
450F/350R springs with ebay coilover sleeves (felt great on the track at Barber)
Poly control arm, and differential bushings with zerk fittings.
SS brake lines
NB tophats
1.8l brakes F/R
Porterfield front race pads/ XP10 rears
Wilwood prop valve

Interior:

Hard Dog single diagonal with harness bar
Buddy club spec miata seats with mounts
out of spec race harnesses (crow and sabelt)
aftermarket steering will
full carpet
hard top bolt in brackets
AEM linear wideband gauge/sensor
Summit racing boost gauge

Drivetrain:

Built 1.8l
Supertech forged 9.0:1 overbore was one size up form stock iirc
M-tuned rods
ARP head studs
balanced (see receipt)
99 intake manifold with VICS
99 head (ported, polished, backcut valves)
RC 750 injectors
m-tuned dual feed rail
BMW tps
DIY AIT sensor (mounted in IC exit)
DIY boost control solenoid (feed is between IC and TB)
toyota cops
sequential fuel
sequential spark
ARTech log manifold
ArTech 3" DP
emotor USA 2871 churbo (has been flawless)
vented manifold to catchcan

Aluminum radiator
old style FM intercooler
quality silicone couplers with Tbolt clamps
FM BOV
AC (but system has a leak and I never repaired it)

MS3x built by Brain, with a diybob to make it use stock harness (upgraded from diypnp)

mazdaspeed 6 spd trans
3.636 torsen
Act extreme PP with 6 puck clutch balanced to flywheel (stock with but lightened a little ~ 13lbs iirc)
SS clutch line (curly Q delete)

Extra stuff:
I'll include the FM strut tower brace, good 5 spd trans, extra cops, couplers, stock seats, whatever you want to pull off my parts shelf. There is a bunch of parts.

I've thought about upgrading the turbo many times, but here is my reason for not doing it. 1. The damn thing has been flawless (no issues, no play), 2. It dynoed at 288HP and 267tq at 19psi. I felt this was very low, but then realized my clutch was slipping on the dyno. I have not done a dyno run with the new clutch, but I do boost to 25psi now. 3.If I get new tires, I can run faster through the corners at Barber and remain in the proper rpm range. Ifeel the money is better spent on wheels and tires.

Why am I selling:
At this point I'm running at the limit of my 7" wheels. If I don't sell the car I will upgrade the breaks, wheels/tires, inconel hardware, and likely buy a truck/trailer to start hauling the car to the track. If I do this, then I'm in to this hobby for the long haul. I'm trying to start moving towards hobbies that include the family a little more. i.e four wheelers, small fishing boat, etc. I feel that now would be the optimum time to sell before investing a lot more money.

It's normally not this dirty, but I have been getting rid of some furniture that has pushed the miata into the driveway instead of the garage.

Anyone relatively close to Birmingham, AL can get a good look at the car in action at Barber Motorsports Park on April 21st.
