Default 95 Mazda M-Edition AVO Turbo Miata - 269rwhp @ 15psi

http://4rows.com/miata

Not my car, but if you're looking for a good track turbo Miata, here it is. This car is FULLY sorted and very quick on the road course. I spent half a day in it with the owner on a local road course (all to ourselves) and it took everything we threw at. Site/link has lots of info on the car and contact info.

It's a nice car, but the ads need more marketing fluff. Last time I saw it the seat was ripped, he must have repaired that.

The asking price is more than likely because it is a 95 merlot. Not that it is worth that in the condition that it is currently in. I dont buy into the Miatas will be classics one day so I would never pay a premium for a so called 'special' Miata. Some people that have 93LE's seem to think it will be a collector's car. I dont see it.

Good Lord, why so much hate?

I understand some may not like the look of the car. I understand my asking price may to too high. We shall see in few days.

I have no problem with people expressing one's opinion but I am surprised that of all people, people who are into turbo miata would be so negative about this car.

Take your turbo car and punish it hard on track driving for 5 years (in heat and cold) and daily driving for 7 years and then tell me how bad my car is.

The car still performs well. It is solid.

Yes, it has high mileage but the engine is better than when I bought the car and all the suspension components have been replaced and strengthened. Wheel bearing, busings, alignment bolts, chassis stiffing, steering rack...

Well, just wanted to say hi ... now back to your negativity...

It generally helps if you don't tell people you've ragged on the car for 5 years prior to asking a high price.

The car was originally headed for a luxury cruiser car. Then I did a track event and got hooked.

That's why the car has a such dual personality. I have reached a point where I had to either go further toward a true track car or revert it back to a highway cruiser.

Since I couldn't make my mind, I am leaving it up to the next owner.

Since everyone thinks it's over priced, I have lowered the starting price to $6700. Is that still too high?

You could just part out the car and still come out ahead at that price.

Anyway, good luck with your projects.

200 ft-lbs, 170 kPa at 3150 RPM. Beat that.

Who did the headwork?

Uh, anyone else notice the 12.6-12.8 AFRs in the upper range? That has got to be the worst tune I've ever seen.

OK, that's a little leaner than I'd want too. However, if the thing doesn't knock, it's fine. And apparantely it hasn't blown up after 60k turbocharged miles, including 3.5k track miles of track use. So I'll say the tune is fine.

The hood is bad ***.

Just because it doesn't knock doesn't mean that's not lean as ****.

You're on crack dude. If it doesn't knock, it's fine.

Now, if the next owner takes it to a different region with a different fuel blend, then it may not be fine. But if he didn't snap a rod, hole a piston, or break a ringland in the last 60k turbocharged miles, then there's no reason to think the tune is off.
