Not sure about over there, but BBM in the states isn't subject to a traditional wiretap and it's more difficult for Johnny Law to subpoena those records.

I think as soon as a riot breaks out, law enforcement should be able to come in with non lethal means and just let loose on the crowds. I'd be willing to bet 95% of them are taking part just as an excuse to be destructive and act like a bunch of hooligans.

Dope. More riots so people can forget about Vancouver and the Stanley Cup.

Supposedly the Britons can't handle it so they've called in some peelers from Ulster. I've seen first hand what those RUC punks can do and know for a fact that they purposefully will shoot the footpath in front of demonstrators in order to score potentially fatal bounces.

(@ rioters not so much Pushy)
No, but I've never rioted or tried to burn down parts of a city either. If your going to act like that, you best be prepared for the consequences.

UK police forces are handicapped by "human rights", that's why they can do next to nothing in a riot. When they do act, many are accused of excessive violence, intentionally causing injury and actually inflaming the riot.
During previous rioting, a policeman shoved a man to the floor who then died of a heart attack. The officer was taken to court and was found guilty/negligent in causing the death (or something along those lines). I have heard nothing official in the officers defence but who's to say he wasn't being harassed and verbally abused by the man who would not move along when told and not desist in the harassment.
During a riot, British police ARE the thin blue line trying to contain violence and hooliganism, they are abused for hours on end by **** brained amoeba's with IQ's lower than an STD, so yes they do snap and "beat up innocent bystanders".

Current riots were caused by the death of a known criminal with gun history, there was a peaceful protest march which quickly got out of hand.
Why the **** were these people protesting? and why didn't they do something to stop him before it came to this?

Rubber bullets are for pussies, our boys like to get up close and personal

Personally I would like to go back to our old methods of 150 years ago, mounted police charging in with sabres drawn.

That's my rant for the day, bye bye for now

Yep, aerial drop of massive tear gas bombs, a small army of LEO in riot gear with rubber bullet weapons and tasers. Catch all of the ones seen looting and destroying property and ******* break their hands with a baseball bat. I hate pieces of **** who use stuff like this as an excuse to be a bunch of idiots.

Many prior years of liberal rule with more and more government and fewer and fewer freedoms/rights might have something to do with it.

I oddly agree with you.

Regardless of where the spark came from...the gas had been poured long before.
