The torque curve actually makes sense now. 'Congrats.

What about the .63 vs 4.27 CF?

just take a log of a 4th gear pull from 2K to redline. upload it.

man, that low-end sucks, reminds me of when I had a poorly tuned FMU/Bipes setup and I was dumping pig rich from using the wrong disc.

currently, my T3 journal bearing on *gasp* a log manifold makes better power down low than yours... Unsure about up top, considering we cannot still compare dynos

Is this the old pig rich dyno or a current one? Comparing your posted dyno to Dann's new post they compare like this;

Dann 90 lb/ft @ 2200 rpm Brain 50lb/ft @ 2200 rpm
Dann 140 lb/ft @ 3500 rpm. Brain 80 lb/ft @ 3500
Dann190 lb/ft @ 4000. Brain 130lb/ft @4000 rpm

How exactly is he making less power down low than you?

Enable logging, shift to 3rd or 4th gear and floor it from 2k rpm up to redline. Then post the log here.

Dann,

I give you credit sir.

You've gotten a lot of chit and hate in this thread but you keep coming back and, well, sort of deliver the goods.

Thanks for not running off with your tail between your legs just because we are a bunch of second guessing grumpy emm effers.

It does seem like the turbo is taking abnormally long to spool though.

Keep at it

I'd love to improve the spool. No reason that cannot be achieved street tuning. I'll get some data logs done and post Em and we can all speculate.

From post #84, rereading the early parts of the thread I'm wondering how much that long intake tube and heat from the rad (full of approx 200* f coolant, less dense air, flow restriction) will affect spool, maybe not at all, I honestly don't know, I'm just spitballing. Looking at the pics of the old log setup you had the air intake on the passenger side back by the cowl, sure it's still getting hot under hood air, but maybe its enough to affect spool? Have you considered

I only mention it because it appears that despite going from a log and more restrictive exhaust to a tubular manifold and full 3" exhaust with no cat, all mandrel bends etc you lost spool over the old setup when you should have gained at least a little in spool.

Did a 3rd gear 2000 onwards pull and a run from a dig but it was badly scrubbing. Anyway I'll get them up tonight.

No whats happenning is because it has the wrong shocks and the biggest of the big huge tyres (17 semi slicks with like a 50 profile tyre) the tyres are pulling themselves forwards and into the guard, at the front not the top.

Its got about an inch static space.

Anyways, im trying to figure out how to upload these files and then we can all bag me out for being a noob

Ok uploaded them, I havnt even viewed these yet, one is a 3rd gear pull from 2000ish, needs work on the tune down this low (not tuned at all down here since the last setup).

One is a run through a few gears from a dig and the other is the MSQ.

To help, its an NA6 with full dashboard weight but no speakers or radio, 2 seats, 200kg of passengers, 17x9s with 50 profile tyres, rollbar and front leg on the rollbar, half tank of fuel, carpet and windows etc intact.

No AC or PS.

well that's a really old dyno from 2006, but it's done on a dynojet so you know it was accurate and not bloated.

Dann, what injectors is it running?

Just saying that dyno jets are a known commodity. If the dyno has the weather station on and isnt at a super high altitude all dynojets will read pretty much the same independent of the weather.
