So, I am going to be running a .48 T3 turbine... I was wondering at what power level I should swap to a .63 for efficiency. I haven't had much luck finding turbine maps... everyone seems to look at compressors only.

What are you looking for? the .48 Stage I should be good for +250rwhp.

On the turbine side youll wanna rock the .48 a/r with the standard stage 1 T3 wheel. Youll see 10psi @ 3200-3400rpm and have a turbo capable of 300whp @ 19psi or so on a 1.6L.

If you go with a .63 you'll notice slower spool, but might help the compressor flow better once spooled. And should be capable of +400rwhp or so.

a .63 housing with the stage 1 wheel is basically pointless since the turbine wont really flow much more at all and you are just adding unndeeded lag. The stage 1 wheel in a .48 housing might be good for about 300whp maximum. A .48 housing with a stage 3 wheel can get you to about 350-400whp. The .63 housing isnt really neccessary unless you are using a lot of rpms and intend to make more than 350whp.

sweet... two answers I like. I'm shooting for 250whp from my 1.8L, but may on occasion turn it up to 300whp or so.
