Turbo setup: are these decent parts?
Hey All,
Considering going into my first turbo build on my 03 Miata. I'm in between selling my Miata and purchasing a pre-built one as it might be more financially feasible, but then I figure I'd miss out on the turboing experience. Anyways, here's what I'm looking at.. I'd like to know if these parts are of "decent" quality. This car is my DD with about 180k km on it-- I'm willing to spend the extra dollar to create a reliable ride, as I'd be out of my only car if this thing blows.
Here's what I'm eyeing on Kijiji. Keep in mind that the prices are in CDN and purchasing from the states right now is expensive (god damn loonie).
Miata NEW custom 1.8 manifold, downpipe and turbo | engine, engine parts | Edmonton Area | Kijiji
My real question is whether a custom manifold is advisable.. Also, whether the Enjuku turbo is of good quality- same with the downpipe.
I'm not looking to push past stock internals. The goal is a reliable car with added power.
Thanks
