Bosch BOV deal...had to brag
Found an ebay store that stocks the Bosch BOV for SAAB/VW/Audi/Porsche, etc., who had listed new BOVs at ~$17, free shipping. Their non-ebay website said ~$52 on sale for ~$41, so it might have been a misprint. But it arrived today, and I did only pay $17 including shipping!
Anyway, if anybody is looking for them, they upped the price now, sorry. But it's still only ~$27!

I'd suggest looking for the DSM 1g metal BOV used first. That bosch bov is the plastic model isn't it? If so, it doesn't like to hold higher boost and has leak issues.
Not trying to be a downer... just going off what I remember.
The 1g is also setup to recirculate for those still running the MAF.

Mine is off a Saab 9-3 (12psi stock?). These plastic one should be fine for quite a bit more than that don't you think? ****, these little plasic ones come stock on dozens of OEM turbo cars. You wouldn't want to install one on 3"IC piping and a T4 pushing 20psi, but a T25 or similar @10psi should be fine.

I was originally looking at 1g dsm bov's, but made the decision to go with these because of a) price, and b) so I don't have to deal with the flange of the dsm bov and making an adapter. As Sam says, the darn thing should work great sub 12 psi, and for $17 (well, $27 now) who cares?

My intake is also really loud (short aluminum elbow, K&N style filter). Honestly I cant see how the valve would sound any different VTA.
