EWG for one. That turbo at 20 psi is way out of its efficiency. I'd like to see the numbers on that on a local dyno. I had the 2560 on my built 1.6 5 years ago and couldn't make more than the 240 to the wheels at 16 psi (on a 1.7 actually) by bumping up the boost. 14-15 psi is really where this turbo wants to be.

a gt3071r will bolt right up to my manifold? Without modification or getting a new mainfold? This is what I am possibly thinking. Getting bigger turbo, WI, and a good tune @ like 15 psi. Think I could pull 270 whp?

yes, it is a 450hp turbo i believe. 270 would be almost out of the lower end ofits efficiency probably. 300+whp is more its place. you'll need big expensive injectors also. 2871 looks like a good compromise, if i had $1000 i'd get one for my 1.6.

550 cc injectors cant support 300 whp? Could a T28 mount to my manifold without any problems?

i dunno maybe they will. the 3071 is an option from FM, so it should work fine.

i came up with about 650cc.
for 350hp at 90%max DC

I think 550's are probably ok for 300whp, but I would certainly keep my eye on the duty cycle much past that.

Hmmm isn't andy using 330's ? and making like 300 whp? Well see I guess. I'm getting that triple core Koyo and possibly DO WI, and crank up to 14 or 15 psi and see what I'm running, then decide if I want to try to get a bigger turbo. I have heard that the T28's aren't that great? Is this incorrect?

dude andy does it with 110psi Fuel pressure the 550's and say 70 psi fuel pressure and you will be just fine. also WI dramaticaly decreases intake temps making the bsfc lower, thus you need less fuel.

The Garrett T25 and T28 have the same bolt hole pattern. If the T2560 fits, the T28 should fit with no problem.

Most cars (Miatas - I have seen) are running ~300 rwhp are running 650 cc injectors. That also allows for about a 15% safety margin.

Get the car tuned well. It needs some attention if there is that much knock at those horsepower levels. While you enjoy your car now, Call John Long or Dan Pedroza in Austin TX (JC Auto Spec) and have them build a motor for you. Then by the time you run the current one ragged, a new one will be ready.
