1.6 rockin a t3 60-1 with a .82 hotside. Going for 500 whp, at like 13k rpms.

now taking bets on if it can even spool it

Looks like a T3/T4. They don't make pure T3's that large IIRC.

Nice clean setup.

haha second post and already busted...

its a friends turbo, i am building a turbo setup for his twincharged hatchback

but doesnt it just look like it belongs next to a 1.6 in a miata

I'd rock it. I bet my 1.6 could spool it by 5.5k, which isnt bad when I can go all the way to 9

haha, i honeslty dont think it would be that bad, on his hatch it spooled up that big 16g under 2 grand, so i dont see any probs at all with this turbo. i think you might accually have to wait for boost now but i think his engine revs to 9 so i think even if it spooled at 3-4 which is 2 grand later than the 16g i still think it will be extreeemely usable.

Is he running a B18c? I'm assuming yes, and those motors have amazing VE.

I'm pretty sure those are his own fabbed shock hats. He has a previous thread on them I believe.

oh and no this is not a pnp radiator. i got a local company to make it for me and i did the brackets for it. there is no way i am paying the ******* prices some of these miata radiator guys want, its insane.

they are just stock valved koni yellows and a set of h&r race springs at 500/325 rates. running a 1" front bar and stock in the rear. fat cat progressive bump stops. i should have about 3" of travel with the control arms flat, f/r . of course i havent driven it yet, since i am still putting the car together.
