Default Update Request: Porting Subi TD04's

Vlad,

You had old posts where you recommended porting Subi TD04's. BUT, the pics are dead, and you didn't say what the goal of the porting was.

Would you discuss that for us who have chosen that turbo.

If I remember correctly, slightly better onset was really the only goal. My exp with td04's did not involve boost creep.

copule threads for illustration
TD04 port and polish help requested. - NASIOC
Deadbolt Monster TD04 with port and polish - NASIOC

there's a guy on here ( 2manyhobbies I think) who did a fantastic job porting a few turbos with a bunch of pictures in his thread, check that out too.

if you have time, a proper air compressor, and a proper bit, I say go for it. just read up on what parts to dig into and what parts to only smooth over, you can actually make it worse if you do it wrong, believe it or not
