Default Hai guyz, meet my new turboz

So, I just pre-ordered my 7670 from full-race and it should be here sometime in April.

I think my progress might be too slow to make a build thread, but who knows maybe I will not be lazy this time and make one.

Specs:

.92 A/R Twin Scroll T4

****. Here's to glory!

hopefully my turbo will explode after you have proven the touted merits of the EFR. And also after ARTech has figured out how to make a twinscroll and that massive turbo fit in the bay.

Btw, why didnt you max out your 5857? The 7670 isn't thaaaaat much larger.

Actually they're pretty much the same size, however, the EFR is rated for an extra 50 hp. After all said and done I will invested an extra $800 dollars to do this full upgrade (turbo/manifold) since I sold my hot side and BOV. I realized the 5857 wasn't a very street friendly turbo and the response between gears was badly lagging. After talks with Full-Race I will make more power, and the boost response between gears will be night and day.

I have also linked up with Sound Performance and they packaged me together a PRO EFI ecu set-up with flex fuel and fuel compensation and a lot of other neat features, as well as ID1600s. This should be my final set-up, well sorted 550+ whp with great power under the curve.

I did talk to Abe briefly about making a manifold for my EFR, it will be a direct copy of the Full-Race Evo Twin Scroll design just flipped around. I will be shooting him another e-mail shortly.

holy ****.

are you staying external or trying their supposed "better than ewg" internal setup?

And FR's feedback on this turbo is pretty much spot on to what others are saying: "It doesn't really outperform all others but is much more responsive"

I am going IWG, yep not worried about power because I know I will make it and expect it to be in par with the PTE, however, the response is what I am looking for. From testing the IWG was holding boost better than EWG even at high boost, so I am sold.

Sound Performance knows miatas? I've seen nothing but supras out there. The last time i talked to those guys they seemed pretty clueless about our kind.

That's it. Does it get better than that with a 1.6?

Tuning is $150 per hour if I remember correctly, it took them 3 hours last time they tuned by car on my AEM EMS. I am not sure if they have a flat rate for tuning on the PRO EFI or not, they might or might not.
