Question Banjo Bolts

Anyone know where in the hell I can get the banjo assembly for my 16g's oil/water lines? I have AN fittings for the feed, but 5 Earl's fittings back to back looks kind of inbred. I looked on some DSM forums and they said it was a 12x1.25 for the oil feed, and 14x1.25 for the water, yet I saw that Atlanta93le said his was a 14x1.5 for the water line. Also where is there to get these anymore? All the places I see say they fit T3 turbos or don't specify the thread pitch (and I don't feel like assuming it is the correct thread pitch). Slowboy has a 14mm banjo bolt, but doesn't specify thread pitch. I searched and saw that this has been mentioned a couple of times in the past, but no one ever posted a "it is this size" instead it was a bunch of "I think it is this size". Anybody know of a reasonably priced vendor for these banjo assemblies, anfittings.com doesn't carry what I need. I need an AN fitting that comes off of the banjo, so I can use my 3AN feed line. The coolant lines will utilize slip-on lines. Any help?

Atpturbo.com might help, maybe summitracing.com, ANplumbing.com perhaps?

summit=fail, atp says they have banjo bolts to fit common garret turbochargers, not sure if it is the same size. Anplumbing=fail

well I went to a local hydraulic shop that deals with the Michelin plant near by because I have heard good things from them, however they didn't even have a 12x1.25 AN fitting, perhaps they will have the banjo though. And good news on the water lines, a friend with a turbo eclipse is going to give me those with the banjo's and some of the hard line (the hard line was trimmed a few inches).

I can only assume you have a 16g turbo already. Take it to any hardware store, go to their metric bolt section, and trial fit bolts till you figure out what size the threads are. Then you'll KNOW. Or, if you're baller, grab your caliper and thread pitch gauge and measure it yourself.

well I managed to find the water lines, those were the 14x1.25 banjo's bolts that I couldn't find. It took a BFH to get them off though. I went all around when I initially got the turbo to find out that the oil feed is 12x1.25 from Magna. For some reason hardware stores around here suck apparently

I"m not sure i'm understanding what you want, but is this the type of banjo fitting you're looking to use for the water lines? I got them on ebay for cheap. Didn't even think of checking the thread pitch before I bought them but i'll go check the ebay auction info to see if its there.

Edit: M14x1.5, should be the same as your turbo.

I was originally asking for sources to get the water bolts/banjos, but I have since found a set. Do the Garrets and DSM's use the same thread pitch?

Cannot say for sure but I think they do as their chra's are close to identical.

Actually now that I think about it, i've got a completely random turbo sitting in my garage that isn't DSM or Garret and it has the same water line bolt sizes...test fitted them and everything. Ended up going with these instead.

I had the same problem and when I went back to the Subaru dealer to ask about them he showed me their rally car without them and said they were a waste of time and you don't actually need them.

Any reason you have to do 5 fittings back to back? They dont make a barb fitting in the correct pitch? Or at least one adaptor and a barb fitting?

the AN fittings all linked up is for the oil feed, which is why I am going the banjo bolt route to weed out possibilities of failing. If I were to run it now, it would consist of 12x1.5-4AN>4AN 90*>4AN female to female>4AN to 3AN
