- I'm not going to mess with the oil pick-up tube. If I lose oil pressure down the road, I'll know where to look. I will flush it out some more though.

- There is a check valve where I cut the brake booster line. Had to relocate it to the booster side. I have an extra check valve if you need one Chad. PM me your address and I'll send it to you.

- The only other issues I'm still having is with the BEGi's down pipe and IC tube. It's been ~2-1/2 weeks since I identified the issue and there's been no resolution but Stephanie was out sick for a week during this time.
disconnect the maf wires that run to the f/ic, and just connect the two back together again... i dont see a reason why u need to control it w/ the f/ic. and it solved all the problems for me. since i had that same problem as u, i also called up aem... but they were no help. i just got a 'just keep fiddling with it'

I'd also recommend not making too big a jump in drill bit sizes.

The tap is what got my pick-up tube. BEGi's instruction call for driving down the tap until 3 threads are left exposed on the tap. I must of had the hole drilled too far back.

I had everything disconnected except the injectors, power and grounds. Fuel maps zeroed out and it still did the same thing. AEM thinks something is shorting out in the unit.

i was wondering, how long is the intercooler tube? Like, if i were to get an intercooler, what would the length need to be from inlet to outlet?

27". I have the same setup waiting to install soon. I have seen quite a few 28" intercoolers on ebay. I plan to buy one of those, test fit it, and if need be, cut a bit off of the pipes to fit the slightly longer intercooler.

Compressor outlet should be 2", "intercooler" tube is 2.25" and throttle body should be 2.5". The pipes go 2-2.5 on the hotside and 2.25-2.5 on the coldside.

You might want to consider buying the pipes from Begi and buying an intercooler from ebay and making it fit. The intercooler should be less than 100, but I don't know how much begi charges for their intercooler pipes.

huh, if you source the oil for the turbo this way you're bypassing the oil filter ...
or are you installing a second smaller oil filter inline in that hose?

Access to the oil filter is still okay.

No inline filter planned - hopefully the same oil doesn't circulate through the turbo.

Get any of your install issues worked out? IC tube and DP or whatever you've been messing with.

IC tube is being fixed by BEGi and the DP is being replaced by BEGi with a stainless steel one at minimal cost. Still waiting to hear from AEM on the F/IC.

I dont think it does. The pickup brings the oil into the middle of the filter and it comes out around it. So it will be filtered.

Let me know if you end up wanting to go with MS.
Good news about the downpipe. I'm waiting for my mani to get coated and it all should get shipped out in 2 wks or less. Lots of lead time for ceramic there for some reason.

Actually, it goes In the outside ring and out the inner tube. Atleast according to this diagram.
