Either way, looks as if some trimming is required.
Doesn't look like as much trimming involved as I had invisioned. Actually looks good.

oops, wrong forum.

I plan on tucking it up (my typical friday night) inside the r-pack lip and cutting the lip, but if that's as low as it goes, then I want the r-pack lip version. If its the wrong one, well, then I have a reason to take a road trip / get the TX highway patrol to chase me 400 miles.

Did not know there were different versions....
Will look into that. If not, then height can always be adjusted to suit.
McGuyver doesn't have **** on me when it comes to fabbing something up.

I'm so serious about buying a bunch of BBQ and beer so we can get drunk and use metal fab equipment on a splitter. Nothing says "fun" like a severed finger. i also have a hand-full of parts to barter for expertise.

Well, I've been through the severed finger routine....
Don't want the 8 months of rehab and 4 years to get feeling back, not to mention the unsightly nerve bundle again.
But I'm down for Beer and BBQ - and any part left unattended or not tied down.
This upcoming thrash is already a legendary event in the making.

The only way to tell for sure which one it is - is to place it on the jig/fixture. Is it my imagination, or is that "r" package slightly larger than most?

Well, my intercooler doesn't have the tabs which are consistent with the instructions for the r-pack lip install. I'm not so sure that I really care either. I'll know something on 8/31, and if anything is jacked up I'll just drive down to sanantonio and exchange them. I have to get my car started on 8/31 and drivable by 9/2 if I'm going to make it to Hallett. My plan to take off September was crushed.
