Default Wiring MTX-L to DIYPNP- Help!

I am having trouble figuring out where I should wire the yellow analog wire coming from my MTX-L into my DIYPNP at.

I currently have O2 jumped to 4N. I do not have anything jumped to/from the DB-15 connector.

Can I just wire yellow analog wire to the positive wire from the stock O2 sensor? Or should I wire up my DB-15 connector? If so, how should I do that?

Thanks all!

This can't be real.

You were told exactly how to do this in your last thread.

The instructions could not be any clearer.

If you actually can't figure this out on your own, you really shouldn't be trying to mod your car this way.

I don't know which 4N I'm supposed to jump the DB-15 connector to. Is it the blank one or the one the I already have going to the O2 pin?

lololol

You've got to be the world's biggest tard. Please post more threads.

Do you see the thing clearly labeled O2 sensor on your DIYPNP? What ought you wire the DB-15 port to, I wonder?

So then I should just disconnect the wire that is jumping 4N to O2 entirely? And just have the DB-15 connector to the O2 pin?

You seem to know what's going on, yet you won't do anything about it.

Would you rather wire the wideband analog signal through the car's stock harness, or through the DB-15 port? What is 4N do, where it go?

That should answer your question.

He sent me a PM asking for help.

I replied with pretty much what you said and added a lengthy justification for why he needs to put down the soldering iron and pick up a book.

If I keep 4N jumped to O2, then the signal is going through the car's stock harness and to the stock O2 sensor wires. I would wire the yellow analog wire from the MTX-L to the positive wire that lead to the stock O2 sensor.

If I jump the DB-15 connector to O2, then the signal is going through the connector and into the O2 pin on the board. I would wire the yellow analog wire into the DB-15 connector.

I guess I don't understand why using the DB-15 connector is such a big deal? Why not just wire it to the stock O2 sensor wires in the engine bay?

See, you get it.

Options, they are good to have. DB-15 is more than just a wideband input port.

Well thank you for being patient with me. I really appreciate the help.

As far as functionality goes, they will both be fine for just this one wire?

I'm going to use the stock O2 sensor positive wire until I need to feed multiple wires into my DIYPNP. Then I'll utilize the DB-15 connecter.

Or would you recommend using the DB-15 connector now?

I recommend you jump from the nearest bridge, whichever one allows you to get the closest to terminal velocity before impact, for optimal wideband wiring.

I am going to utilize the DB-15 connector and run all four my my wires through it. I am going to run the red wire to an open 12V pin, splice the black wire into a wire that is leading to a SG pin, the yellow wire to the 4N pin, and the white wire to the 1U pin.

Look, I learned things! Unless if someone wants to let me know if I am mistaken with any of this...
