I want to build something stupid like that. Back down to a 1.6 with a holset or gt65. Would really be a hoot to jack around with.

gt != T

I bet something making 225rwtq at 3K is more "fun"

technically my turbine is smaller than a 3071's.

My turbine: 45mm exducer and 63.5mm inducer.
3071 turbine: 55mm exducer and 60mm inducer.

3071 turbine: (doing math for exducer, give me a minute) 60mm inducer.
the old T system is really annoying, the garrett system makes sense because its actually telling you the inducer and exducer diameter. But when its just a "T3/T04" it could be such a huge range of sizes...

it's telling you GT for Garrett Turbo, then the turbine "size", and then the compressor inducer size in mm. a 2560 and 2860 both have a 60mm compressor wheel, but the 2860 is like .07" larger inducer. the 2560 obviously has a smaller turbine than the 2860. but yes, Makes much more sense the quickly judge the size.

my T3 Super 60 would be labeled like a GT2960.

I unfortunately am better versed in the T system and am lost on the GT system, but am slowly picking it up.

So what's the GT #'s for a T40E 50 Trim?

It's kinda out the window at that point, but the 3076 would be the closet. Since the t04e 50 trim wheel is 76mm/54mm and the 3076 wheel is 76.2mm/57mm

if it's in incredibly good shape sure. with your power goal you could use the same ebay T3 50 trim I'm using. IIRC i got it for $175.
