very cool idea, but it would be nice to have hard numbers on efficenity and the blockage it imposes in the charge pipeing.

Huh? There is explainations on their website. I was tossing around the idea fitting one on my MR2 Turbo as well as the Miata once I get started turboing it. Maybe even develop a kit to make it work.

Ought to test out well compared to a quite efficient mid size Spearco, based on fin contact area, and you could chill the water...

The problem I see is how would you keep the water cool. Maybe put a mini fridge in the engine bay and have the coolant routed through that.

They have heat exhanger kits available. You'd chill the water the same way you would with any other A2W system. The MR2OC forum has a lot of write ups on A2W system work.

Just use a small radiator, or your a/c system lol.

or convert your washer fluid reservoir into an ice water bath with the water circulating through it. I have actually thought up a very similar design before. And it's funny how they don't have prices readily available.

How a bout plumbing up a C02 system to one of those? DEI already offers a C02 system for cheap. Maybe route it through one of those, then onto the intercooler sprayer. 5lb tank of C02 doesnt cost much to refill at all.

Similar concept to the PWR Barrel A/W IC's good for apps with limited space, (which the 5 ain't), or where you want/need to reduce throttled volume, i.e. in a single throttle Supercharged setup.

hm I could see all the surface area causing drag on the flow, raising the pressure in your pipes higher then you may expect? (if I am thinking about this correctly that is)

exactly what I was thinking. or you could use it inline with a dry n2o system for the drag race guys.

IMO its not going to work nearly as well as a real AWIC where the water actually flows through the core
