Check my math real quick for my new IC
according to my math an IC with a core of 22x7x2.25 would be plenty enough for my set up
My math is coming at 458bhp ...right or wrong

no ac or ps I took everything out...I have plenty of room to go up but i just dont want to block my whole radiator, still gonna stick with the greddy kit and 15psi. But with the upgraded wastegate, and relocated mbc line to before TB, the starion IC just looks too restrictive and hopefully for the next dyno day I'll hit 250whp easily if not I'll give up.

for sure that starion is holding you back you should see 250 no problem with any decent intercooler. i wonder when my little guy will start holding me back, it's hard to say if my heat gain on the dyno was due to intercooler size or my major boost leak making my turbo work extra hard. i saw a about a 40 degree rise. it probably is time to go bigger
maybe something along these lines

also, the one you linked only has a 2.25" thick core, seems a little small especially with 2.5" outlets

I had a freind with a Starion unit on his DSM. When he switched to a stock MKIV Supra IC (sidemount) the difference was very noticeable. The Starion was not much better than stock surprisingly.
Oh yeah, math......
Staion = suck^2 + needz moar boozt.
22X7X2.25 =
ah screw it I need to find the hockey game

I found the perfect one I think 22x8x3.5
what do you think? Only thing is that it doesn't come with the pipes but I could just order them separetly.

If you go with some ducting you could get away with a taller core. Personally I would get something taller and thinner to help the air flow to the radiator. I have my sights set on this one:

i dont like math. just make sure the runners are 18-24" long and you probably want at least 7" tall. Anything past 24" long and it's diminishing returns as far as cooling the air charge anyways.
