i'm not possitively sure but i believe a 1/8 aluminum pop rivet will also do. Please check before taking my advice.

Jeff-- wouldn't it be too late to put the restrictor if oil has been pushed through the seals?

I don't see why. There might be some permanent damage done, but with a restrictor in place it should keep it alive for a good while. And if not, its 125 bucks

The used unrestricted one is from an RX7.

The oil restrictor on mine was bought on EBAY, works very well. I did make sure the oil feed line was up to specs, made a new one on a Hydraulic truck shop.

I got a Chinacharger as well, it works very well, I am 99% sure the leak is because too much pressure, those seals do not hold more than 15-20 psi.

hey guys sorry for the delayed response. Ive been crazy busy with work and school. Ill post some pics up tomarrow. I have an oil restrictor in a pop rivit, works good i think... haha. I am using braided an lines for oil feed and return, looks great. I have to finish my new no cat pipe and then i will back in bussiness.

My car def needs a new tune and some dyno love but im thinking i might just wait for a nice used 1.8L motor to throw in her and get another manifold.

The wastegate on the Chinese turbo works fine - at 10 psi. Most of the creep issues you read about are because they were supposed to run 5 psi and not 10 psi. If I know you will be running 5-6 psi, we will take off the Chinese actuator and put on a Garrett 5 psi one. If you use an intercooler and MS, we will leave the 10 psi actuator on. Also, we do not port the Chinese turbos unless asked to do so. But in case you need it, Corky had me post DIY at home porting instructions on the website.
