Clutch Suggestions
#21
I'm supposed to have an ACT extreme on the way if Mikef85 will quit jerking me around. He said he'd pull his motor thurs, ship friday, monday at the latest. Sunday he said he was pulling the motor monday, would ship tuesday at the latest. Tuesday he said he'd ship it Wednesday. Still haven't heard from him.

Exactly look at it as preventative maintenance Pat if i knew then what i know now i would have gone straight to the XD for my car but instead i bought a stage 3 and at around 250whp i outgrew it. That only took what 10K miles still if i had been sane and responsible i would have been able to run the S3 clutch for a good while. Also it is easier to do when you have half the **** off the car anyway.

Yea I see it makes sense especially if you plan to make more HP. Just thought if he dosn't want to push the envelope and dosn't beat the car he could try it. I don't know why mine holds so well maybe it's a high performance aftermarket but it sure has a soft pedal. Whatever it is though it's pretty tough. With a warm bottle it spins 2nd to 50mph if I don't let off with the stock tires, then hooks and it holds strong. Maybe it's an ACT.... We shall see this summer.
