Default Street car. 2554 vs 2560

Ok, I'm looking at just grabbing a stripped down begi kit (no fuel stuff, gauges etc) and the price is fairly reasonable, if I am able to pick up a DD fairly soon, a turbo kit isn't out of the question mid summer.

I know the 2554 is a quick spooling, mid 200-ish power cap, smooth power delivery.

But is the 2560 that much different in spool times and power? In the price I was qouted, the 2560 was ~150 bucks or so extra. The car isn't a straight auto-x car, it WILL start seeing track time after a DD is found and I will want to play with it as much as possible on the street.

For a stock 1.6 (until the motor starts having issues, at which that time it will be rebuilt) What would you go with? Goals to start with are around 200rwhp, but I'd be willing to see how far I could get, especially with a built motor.

I already have a Torsen and clutch in the car, a MS waiting to go in, AEM wideband, 550 injectors

here's the short version of the other thread:

2554 spools well
2560 does nothing spectacular. not spool, not top end. middle of the road.

The other title was literally "GT2554R vs. GT2560R" or something like that.

lol, I think it was a hustler thread, I know pretty much what they are, I was mainly just asking if it would be worth the extra money since I've never had experience with either.

EDIT: How the **** did I miss savingtons thread?

I would get the bigger snail. Lower outlet temps. More top end potential.
