No i had to lower the radiator, only about 2 inches i think.

why not just 2" all around? I have 2.5 all around and when I upgrade any part of this setup its getting stepped down to 2" for clearance around stuff.

Why discard the starion ic??? It is perfect for this route...
Mount it upside down and cut the pipes 1.5" from the end tanks...

Nope I just cut the tabs off and welded them on lower down.

Here's how I did it on my NB: (I think this also applies to NA, but not sure?)

Drill out holes in the lower rad brackets to fit the lower sway bar mounts.


Install in lower holes:


Fab new upper rad brackets to angle the rad back:

what's the biggest size intercooler we can fit? i'm thinking of the same setup for the intercooler

found

for a rx7, if it fits, this should do fine

or a starion

seems like a modified starion would be perfect, just need to find where/how to get/fab the pipes, i think the rx7 one is too big

any pictures of how the starion is held onto the chassis?
