1) I'd like to see it functioning with a full setup on a car, and proven to not suck. So far that's not been done (we had this same EXACT discussion a few months back about this same mani)
2) looks like it would make oil drain a pita, as well as possibly interfere with frame rail, requiring possible Faeflora mounting.
3) for that kinda cash, Tim and Abe can make you pretty much ANY style manifold, and they both have some seriously sick manifolds they've made before that are proven to fit right, work good, and are both evil geniuses when it comes to miata hotside parts.

So yeah.....meh

i too would like to see this thing in action. i dont wanna be the test mule but this manifold just looks really visually appealing. i could probably make an exhaust for it pretty easily and it seems like they are selling most of their manifolds for the same price. they put it up for 795 or best offer and they seem to be selling b series manifolds for just over 500.

LOL visually appealing. Have you seen any of Tims and Abes work? Even their lowend manifolds look just as well made (and ARE well made) as this thing.

Exactly what the rest said.

"304" stainless with no listing of what sch. pipe.

No thanks. I'd love to see my 40lb Holset sit on this bitch at that angle after 15 pulls to 130mph.

lolol ok sorry to waste everyone's time on yet another stupid ebay turbo manifold thread, i know u guys here really appreciate these kinds of threads but this one just looked different from the typical taco taco manifolds that im used to seeing, and these guys sell some manifolds for really cool cars so i was just thinking it might be a halfway decent piece of hardware. i mean they have a s2k manifold for 1200 bucks called the "annihilator ".

well its not exactly an "ebay" manifold, so its not like anyone is mad or frustrated, just doesn't look like its anything anyone here would want to be a guinea pig for, esp for that kinda cash

^ thats one of the nicest looking setups ive seen in a while. i wuv how it sits the turbo at an angle, looks so menacing that way.

the seller wrote back and said that its constructed form sc40 piping. and they offer a 2 year warranty against cracking if its "professionally installed" whatever that means.

The turbo NEEDS a crane on that set-up, it's not schedule-40 pipe, and the wastegate placement is less than fantastic.

Completely irrelevant.

I'll take an ugly, proven setup over a mystery baller setup any day.

The P/S would have to go (some people prefer to keep it) and it looks like your wastegate will be trying to make out with the a/c compressor lines.

Not to mention you'll have to snake your dump pipe around the lower coolant hose. I can smell the burning lines already

Small details? Yes. But for that price? No. For that price you're better off having the forum fabricators build you whatever you want with your own specifications and needs in mind, and knowing it will be quality.

800 is too much bread for me to spend on mystery meatloaf.

Yeah, viper is pretty much spot on: what to you looks "kewl" and "menacing" to us looks like a giant pain in the a$$. You'll be melting stuff left and right and having fitment issues.

aww man i dont wanna melt stuff and have fitment issues.

how can u guys tell its not sc40 pipe? is it cuz it comes with that cast look on the surface compared to the smooth finish on the piping they used?
