Default Evo VI exhaust on 99ae

I managed to fit an exhaust for an evo VI to my 99ae
Several cuts and welds but not as bad as I was expecting.
I am curious how it will sound

It exits underneath car, doesn't go all the way to the back?

I did that with mine because I cut off a rusty tip. It now ends right inside the bumper skin, which I blame for some extra drone I have now. Might wanna try a turn down tip or something else.

Otherwise, looks fairly good. Did you have a deal on this one? Is that why you used it?

I will add about a foot of piping to the end of the back box to clear the bumper. (There is suitable bitl left over.) My aim It should look like stock exit but with a larger diameter

If it ends up being too loud I could put a baffle in the back box but hopefully the 2 resonator sections will deaden the sound and reduce rasp.

yes, it was a good deal, 50$ on ebay. Here in Slovakia it is difficult to come by Miata parts.

I attached a piece to clear the bumper. (The section is removable so a baffle could be added if needed.)

I guess it is not too loud for a straight through set up.
