Default Drill/tap chinacharger oil return

Is there anything wrong with drilling/tapping the oil return port on a turbo? Just ordered the Begi-SS drain line kit and I want to neglect a flange and just screw it directly into the turbo.

Forgive the noob question, but is there anything wrong with doing this?

nothing wrong with that at all. I've done it numerous times. just take extreme measures to insure that you don't get any shavings in there. I highly recommend complete disassembly and flushing in a parts washer. it doesn't take much of anything to quickly destroy turbo bearings.
