i searched for the vendor "ilovetacotaco" and found the thread with people complaining about this thing. im not interested in super cheap manufacturing, but I did happen to like the aluminum intercooler pipes. few extra degrees of thermal radiation other than the intercooler itself...

I don't believe those intercooler pipes are anything but the "universal" kits readily available on ebay configured to resemble how you would have to do it on a Miata. They would need work to be made to fit, I believe.

There's no way those pipes could go in like that. Too much room on the cold side of the intercooler to make sense, and I don't think you can actually run the hot side like that. The turbo looks low enough to hit the motor mounts let alone the other pipes.

Looks like it would save lots of weight by eliminating that pesky engine block.

look at the coupler over the 3-bolt adapter on the turbo.

but as installed the intercooler pipes would have to travel through metal.

clock the turob and you could easily make it work, then the question arises " do i want to?"

yeah with a "kit" like that you shouldn't have to clock the turbo when you get it, it should just fit.

haha silicone coupler over 3-bolt flange. nice.

also didn't the "turbo not hit block" picture once have a block in it?

of course it wont hit the block.... the block's in the garage or something.

Why do you think it's a copy of that manifold?

We have got to do something about these posts... Scott, how about adding a post in the FAQ with a small blurb on the 4 or 5 common eBay kits.

I smartened up after a little while... I guess my brain just was shut off earlier today. Altho, it wouldnt be a bad idea if someone wanted to run an explaination or a rundown of kits available and what their advantages and DISADVANTAGES and what they are missing are.

Sorry for making you click my silly little thread.
