Default What do you think of this pre-used kit I found?

I found this kit on Kijiji, was wondering if it's worth buying.

Looks like it has almost everything I need, but are the parts junk?

Complete turbo kit for Mazda Miata NA 1.6 - City of Toronto Engine, Engine Parts For Sale - Kijiji City of Toronto Canada.

Thanks

It is actually.

The kit on the other hand, not so much.

Seems like a lotta ebay stuff. Not sure if the turbo is real. Manifold looks like paper, but seems to be braced and welded decently. Will more than likely still crack in a year.

I think if you can talk him down to $500 it might be ok. Since $500 is about what you could sell the stuff that isnt garbage used individually if the manifold cracks. That looks like an Evo 3 "big" 16g.

Ya, not for me. I'd rather buy good parts and not have my manifold crack.

Not really in a big rush to get a turbo but just looking around.
Want to make sure I have the right amount of $ saved up.

Thanks again.

Wait for a used FM kit to pop up on this site, or a BEGi kit with a cast manifold.

The Shanghai-S Turbo System looks fairly priced new.

I'll keep looking though. Going to keep reading the stickies to get an idea of what I need.

Thanks

That TD05 doesn't look genuine.
