Default Mystery Ebay Turbo ID

Sorry for another turbo identification thread but this one has me really confused. It is at a shop right now so any measurements will take a bit since I have to drive up there or ask them to measure.

Based on the original owner's build website here (under the "Turbo and Intake" link on the left) it looks like he installed a manifold/turbo/downpipe that was all sold to him as a T25. That is why I went ahead and bought the BEGi T25/T28 exhaust manifold without looking close enough at the orientation of the turbo flange...

Here is the old setup with the mystery turbo bolted to the cheapo "SS" manifold. Notice the "thin side on top and long side parallel to the dp flang" arrangement of the manifold flange:

Here is a picture of the down-pipe flange with its 4-bolt configuration:

The closest picture I have found online that looks similar is from a second gen mitsubishi and is a T25. Look here.

The compressor for the mitsu T25's look completely different though since they have a J-shaped compressor outlet.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Edit: There are no ID tags anywhere on this turbo. This is probably a chinese knockoff and I can post pictures of my meet and greet thread if you want to see more pictures of the turbine and compressor stampings. One poster on that thread guessed it was some kind of T3 hybrid but the google search I do for those still gives me a "long-side perpendicular to the downpipe flange" arrangement that my turbo doesn't have.

This is the manifold I bought and how the T25 turbo should look when bolted up:

That turbo looks like a TD05-16g China copy. As far as I know there are no decent off the shelf Miata manifolds for it. You could make one https://www.miataturbo.net/diy-turbo...5/#post1173119

I found pictures of those too, but what threw me off was the rounded middle section of the flange:

Is that not on all of them?

Flows 14% more than competing turbos. That's a cool story bro.
