Default 1st to 2nd gen brake swap ?

aside from front caliper, rotor, braket, and rear cal.,rotor,braket; is there anything else i need? does it matter what year i get them off, or any that are perferable?

you don't need the calipers actually. you can use your 1.6 calipers but you need the 1.8 caliper brackets

why dont i need the calipers? if i use the 1.6 calipers, do i use 1.8 brake pads?

the 1.6 and 1.8 calipers are interchangeable. You use the 1.8 brake pads w/ the 1.6 calipers. So you just need 1.8 brake caliper brackets, 1.8 brake pads, and 1.8 rotors. The calipers remain the same.

the brake pads slide into and are held by the caliper brackets. all the caliper does is squeeze them against the rotor. therefor the pads are fit to the brackets
