Default Anyone have issues with Rx7 550cc injectors?

I'm ready for more boost (12-14psi) and I was curious to see if a set of rx7 550cc off of ebay is an appropriate option.

I've read about mixed results with them (idle issues, and some just not working properly) as well as some people saying they don't have any issues with them.

Can I bite the bullet? or should I spend my money on a different option?

They're probably the cheapest option, or 440 rx-8 injectors. I've been using them for a few months and theyre OK. I'm looking to upgrade already though.

What size turbo do you have? You can buy new yellow rx8 injectors for about $35 on rock auto. Those will be much better then the rx7 ones.

I'm running a stock '82 280Z Garrett Air Research T3 Turbo (60 comp trim and .63 turbine trim) at 7ish psi.

Needless to say, I'm working my poor injectors hard atm.

Is that really for an injector itself and not a rebuild/cleaning service?

Curly made a thread recently where they are discussed. When I briefly looked around the time of the thread I could have sworn they were around $35. I could be off though.

What's wrong w/ the OEM 460 or 550cc RX7 injectors?

They are EV1 technology. Sure they will work, but there are better options out there. From a quick glance at rockauto it looks like there are a few remanufactured RX8 ones for <$50, but I don't know the difference between the primary and secondary ones.
