Default Finally decided on my setup

So... New setup is almost all complete! Just under $1600 for everything.
Specs:

Ebay 1.6L cast iron manifold
Volvo .42 a/r T3 (switching to 60 trim Garrett T3 later on)
24x12x3 CXRacing intercooler
Forge bypass valve
420cc RX8 injectors
Braineack's MegaSquirt (piggyback)
Knocksense MS
LC-1 Wideband
2.5" crush-bent downpipe
2.5" catalytic
2.5" ISC Racing midpipe ($75!)
MagnaFlow straight-through muffler

Let's see how much it will push! Hoping for 240ish with some crazy tune (by professional and WELL respected tuner!) Maybe closer to 280whp with methanol/water injection and T3 super 60?

how will the ebay cast manifold hold up?
did it come directly bolt on or did you have to make some custom welds?

Glad to hear your got yet another setup going, lol

Maybe I'm wrong, and def dont mean to rain on ur parade, but do you think your power goals may be a little high for this setup? 1.6, small turbo, crush bent dp, 2.5" exh + cat?....Maybe more like 190=200ish?

Ya man, don't you think those power goals would be much more realistic if you used that huge chinacharger?

Whatever happens, tell me when you are actually doing the install, I'd love to help.

Oh and what made you change your mind to MS piggy?

got intercooler mounted today. half of my piping is done also. need to get studs for manifold and then im set!

also, in another thread you can find that i decided to merge chinacharger and garrett together to see what happens.

by the way, since im using that forge bypass, i will also route a duck call to it!

You'll need larger injectors for 280hp.
But I'm glad to see it come together.
Good Luck!

I can remember just a couple weeks ago when i joined the forum, that you didnt even know what you were doing with your setup.
keep up the good work. If you did take pics tho to help someone like myself, i'd greatly appreciate it. But if you didnt, I toootaly understand, haha.
