Soon as it's cool enough I will remove it. Self employment FTMFW.

are your turbines the same size? can you not fit this new turbo into the old exhaust housing?

I just ordered the same turbo last night and already have an EWG that I was planning to use with my other one. I was actually thinking about this all last night cause I couldn't decide if I wanted to use the internal gate or not. I think you just made up my mind for me.

i thought you had a 2854 before... and you should now refer to your turbo as a china 2871.

Fixed it. The flapper door was loose in the shaft so it was binding. I put a c clip on the back side. Video up in a few.

Thanks dude for doing this testing. I know a lot of us are watching to see how it goes. Perhaps the WG shaft just needs to be cleaned up.

Actually Lev, if you want to stay IWG, I'd happy to switch exhaust housing with you if you want to see if that will help.

edit: NM, just saw new post. Glad it was something easy. Did you leave comething off from when you stripped it apart to measure?

Okay mine is doing the same thing. You said you just put a c-clip on the flapper itself to hold it?
