Talking MkIV Twin Turbo on 1.6

So i have a stock twin turbo setup from a MKIV Supra.
I was wondering if this would be a good route to go starting my build on my 1.6 Miata.
The turbos (CT12B) (Steel) measure:
Compressor size: 52mm/44mm (inducer/exducer)
Turbine size: 58mm/39mm (inducer/exducer)
Scroll Area (mm^2): 740

This turbo setup is sequential btw

What do you guys think?

Would I need to get a custom manifold? I'm worried about the setup on this thing anybody have any tips on starting this build?

Just use two regular 1.6 manifolds stacked.

I wonder why no one has installed this same setup yet, a 1.6L twin sequential turbo will spool like no other miata! and make mad power.

each turbo can be boosted from 2 cylinders with a divided gasses manifold, and one turbo will sit above the hood and other under the car. sick setup.

I'm going to step out of Miata turbo land and help you out for a second.

This setup will absolutely not work and is top 10 stupid ideas I have seen on this page.

Want good spool and power below 600whp buy a efr, want more go bullseye.

The question is more why would you want it to.

The factory cast manifold that connects these turbos are obviously not going to fit on random xx car. This leaves you with making a custom manifold to fit these two turbos on to. From there you will need to spend a lot of time figuring out what goes where in my head seems like very annoying plumbing all for subpar turbo from 199X. Having worked with the stock supra turbos on my build (well removing them from the longblock) it was a giant oem mess and is something I'd never consider trying to make work let alone trouble shoot and find which of the 50 vac lines are leaking.
The jdm turbos are the cheap ones and they are known to blow up when being pushed. The us ones are worth decent money if you sell them on supraforums and will fund a little bit of buying a proper turbo.
i would also imagine you'd struggle to source the correct downpipe and manifold flanges.

Go with a small efr turbo for low power stuff like I said. You will get better spool and response. The only worth while twin turbo supra I have seen graph and power wise has been a twin efr7163 car.

Why are you ruining this? This new approach of encouraging the noobs to go forth and seek out their used turbo dreams is a necessary step of fixing the world as we know it. We have to stop saving the foolish, we must let Darwin do his work.

eh it was fun but I don't want the dude actually investing money into this idea because we "say" it's great.
Now all was learned and now he has a idea of why it won't work. I am still a noob and ask stupid questions and hope to get a solid answer that leads me on the correct path. So I do not mind answering others questions.
Now if op decides to try it anyways or tell me why I'm wrong and be a askhole he's on his own lol.

Just make sure you run a voodoo box with the ebay manifold otherwise you'll boil your blinker fluid and fry your muffler bearings.
