Default Where to get a clip for the wastegate actuator arm?

Arrrrgh...I lost the little clip that goes at the end of the actuator arm. Does anyone know where I can (quickly) get a replacement? I'm supposed to hit the dyno on Saturday. The turbo is a 2560R.

If this is something I'm going to have to mail order, is there a ghetto temporary fix that I can use?

I don't know about where to get the official part, but my old Greddy came with a little wire (think paperclip) going through a hole on the end like safety wire. If you don't have a hole that's pretty much useless advice though.

I know I saw some similar type circlips as the ones on my T25 when I was building RC cars so you might check a hobby shop and look in their components section.

you talking about the c clip that holds it on? I used to work at hobbytown, and they should have c clips in that size, you may have to look for it tho.

Thanks guys - I was hoping it was something I could find at a Home Depot or Ace or something. I'll have to check and see if there is a hobby shop store nearby.

No hole in the post, either, so I won't be able to use the wire/paperclip approach.

Any other suggestions?

I need a spare too. I dropped mine on the subframe in the hotel parking-lot a few days ago. There was drama for my mamma that day.

Smith Hardware on College should have them if you can't find 'em at a hardware store closer.

I actually have something really good on my turbo. I saw these only once, and only at Napa. Ill try to explain. Its a circle, it has a wide hole that gets narrower at one end, and a little paw that hangs over the length of the hole. You slip it on, and slide it forward toward the narrower end, then the paw basically prevents it from backing up.

Ill try to draw it if no one knows what im talking about, but basically its the best thing I have yet to see.

Got one at Home Depot. Checked out ACE and they have them too. Problem solved.
