I have a standard color ssqv. Yours for $75 shipped if you want it. Ita funny cause I've never had issues with my ssqvs on the gtr or rx7. The rx7 only ran 15psi but the gtr rand 28psi without any failures. Might be something with the black ones.

Hey guys, something similar happened to me. My life went to total crap today when I my girl and I were out driving around with the top down and my rear turbo seal and my HKS ssqv black edition bov both kicked the bucket. This is my second HKS SSQV black bov within less than a year and they both developed sealing issues and premature venting (-15 to -18 vac). I am broke as heck and now get to rack up some more credit card debt. Hooray college poverty! On the upside I will be upgrading to a slightly larger turbo and will be downgrading to a simpler, adjustable BOV.
Still hating life,

my life went to crap when I put all turbosmart products on my car, cause I ran out of "I have to fix... on the car" excuses to give to the old lady when I just want to head to the shop and tinker.

This thread has grown to hallarity. I agree that the simpler the product the less likely it is to fail. That's why I'm going back to the egay special bov. I think the new gens of the SSQV having the smaller secondary valve with twice as many moving parts and twice as many seals is just asking for failure. Thought it would be awesome. Wasn't...
