Default What Turbo do I have?
I was told it is a t-28, but that is it. I know there are many variations of the T-28 but I don’t know which one I have. Here is what I know:
The turbo came off an early FM kit, but I was told the turbo was upgraded.

Compressor
Says A/R 48
Inducer diameter = 40.97mm
Exducer diameter = 50.98mm
=64.6 trim

Turbine
Says A/R 64
Inducer diameter = 52.7mm
Exducer diameter = 42.09mm
=63.5 trim

I’m trying to see what the power potential of this turbo is.
I can add pics if necessary.

smaller than a 2650, i think!

There is only 4 bolts that hold the turbine housing to the CHRA, i only see 4. My 2560 had 6 (wait no, my 2860 has 6.....FAWK idk.) I dont know **** about AR and all that crap...

Your compressor wheel measurements are a hair smaller than a 2554, and also those currently have a .80 A/R. I believe the .48 compressors were common on the small T25s used on the 300ZX but don't quote me on that. The turbine side sounds close to a 2554 or 2560 but again yours has a more puny compressor. Maybe good for 200 whp? Just a guess.

looks like the comp is close to a GT2252 good for 180-260 is what garrett says on there sit so proby max 220

was the compressor measurement supposed to say 60mm? Cause then it would make sense as a T28 with a 50 trim compressor wheel.

was thinking more like a ca18et (not sure if its the same as the one above though)

Looks exactly the same as a sr20 stock turbo t25......Exept for the compressor ind. and exd. fittings.....

Looks pretty much identical to my SR20 T25... I'll have to double check to see if my A/R's are the same though.
